As a Relationship Mentor and Child and Adolescent Therapist I am always learning, upskilling and continuing my training. It never stops. It is a requirement of membership of my professional bodies IARM and NAPCP that I complete a specific amount of CPD every year, but I don't do it just because I have to, I do it because I want to ! I love learning, I love exposing myself to new ideas and new knowledge, and I believe it is essential to continually challenge myself so I can be the supportive therapist that my clients need and deserve.
I recently attended a training with the wonderful Bonnie Badenoch. It was wonderful, because Bonnie "speaks my language". She is all about relationships and primarily the relationship with self. This is where it all began for me, and it continues to this day ... a constant journey of self exploration and continual reflection.
