STEM Passport for Inclusion

During the year, I saw a post by @Katriona O'Sullivan on @LinkedIn in which she spoke about the STEM Passport for Inclusion programme at Maynooth University. I read Katriona's book "Poor" last year on holiday in about six hours. It completely blew me away and touched my heart in a way not many books do these days.
Although I don't work in a STEM organisation or role, I was compelled to apply to the programme to become a mentor to adolescents. I had my first mentoring experience with them in person last October/November. This then led to me signing up for a Micro credential in Mentoring for Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion at Maynooth University and doing more mentoring for the STEM programme as a component of the micro credential.
I recently added the "Mentor Award" ceremony and had the pleasure of listening to and meeting Katriona in person. I have to admit I was a bit lost for words!
Please consider applying to become a mentor to adolescents in the STEM programme. It doesn't take a lot of your time, and you will get a lot out of it. You can find more information at the link below
